You’re the real deal.

We would love to have you attend our in-person course as a demo model to help our students learn and practice on real individuals with spinal cord injury.

You’re a good fit to be a demo model at one of our in-person courses if you:

  • Are patient & curious

  • Offer constructive feedback

  • Give consent to lots of eyes watching you!

  • Give consent to learning hands touching and supporting you

  • Are reliable to show up!

  • Have medium-to-manageable levels of tone (or no tone at all)

  • Are fully cognitive (no severe TBI)

  • Can commit to at least full day, 9-5pm of participation

What’s in it for you:

  • Attend the entire course (even the days you aren’t asked to model for), learning the progression of exercises from start to finish

  • Work through the material with any of your trainers attending the course

  • Learn the Zebrafish “Framework for Recovery” assessment protocols & exercises

  • Be included in the conversation alongside the pros

  • Leave with a basic program to do with your trainer and at home, formulated by the attendees

  • The course alternates between demonstration and lab/practice time.

Stephanie will demonstrate a set of exercises in front of the group.

Clinicians will then break out into groups to practice the set of exercises on a demo model.

Demo models can expect to work with 2-3 different groups of clinicians throughout the day.

The day concludes with these groups coming together to pick out the best exercises for you to present to the entire group.

You will leave the day feeling worked, rejuvenated in the new approach, and with an exercise program to work on with or without your trainer.

  • There may be an opportunity for 1:1 training after the course. Inquire if you are interested.

  • You are welcome to attend all three days of the course.
