Full-Day (7-hour) In-Person Workshop

Walnut Creek, CA on April 12, 2025

(see here for Virtual Option)

Hosted at

RISE Paralysis Center / Forma Gym

1908 Olympic Blvd Suite 101, Walnut Creek, CA 94596

Workshop Schedule:

Saturday, April 12: 9-5pm

Workshop Description:

High neurological tone is a frustrating side effect of spinal cord injury, both for the individual and for trainers to work with. Trainers are often stuck on how to “lift” this tone to expose true motor abilities and progress in function.

This workshop explores the impact of trauma and the role of the autonomic nervous system in chronic neurological tone. Participants will learn Stephanie's curated “central nervous system soothers” and exercises she has found to mitigate and decrease global neurological tone for the long term - and see the magic unfold in real Client Demo Models.
